"Britney and the Chinese Babies: The Inner Dialog" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-11-13 12:37:45

Hey y'all. I knowed I been quiet for a whilers but I had to set the records straghtenin' right about this. Y'see... I tolded my Guatermalanian maid to get me two orders of Chinese for the babies. Well she don't hear too good and she says I talk funny so when she told Alli she said. "Missy Britney want two Chinese babies." Before I knowed it. Alli found a redoption agency and filled up all them papers in. Coupla weeks later she's showin' me pictures of little Chinese babers and askin' me to choose which two do I want?!I did not order me up some Chinese chirldrens. Heckers if I wanted me some more babies I'd find me another K-Fart and make me some! I do not need to go all the way to Japan. 5. BRITTANY AND KEVIN ARE TWO IRRESPONSIBLE PERSON ,THEY'RE NOT PARENTS. BY ANY MEANS......... Posted at on Nov 27th 2007 by BRITTANY OR KEVIN ARE RESPONSIBLE. NOR OR THEY CONSIDERED PARENTS...... SEX DONORS 6. Japan? Chinese? Chirldrens?Good Ol Redneck USA! I think you managed to insult everyone on this one. Get ready for the barrage Aholes!!!!!!!!!!!! 7. Every morning I get up just wondering how dumb will the Britney stories will be. Most are madeup just for affect. This just garbage. Can't you start one day with a positive story about Britney? 8. This is not funny and a waste of space leave the girl alone and report some real news! TMZ.... You are beginning to be very boring... and the news is so NOT! 9. Is anyone else curious... who feeds this crap to the TMZ Whores? Shar. KFed who would benefit other than Lawyers? Oh that's right Harvey is a lawyer. My bad ya'll. 10. Harvey/ TMZ: Did you see Us Magazine's piece on Britney this week? Why don't you follow suit and explore the reasons why she is not well...(but I guess that would be responsible journalism...) As much as money as you've made off of her you need to give it a rest. 12. . HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA!!!Too funny!Ding friggin' dang. I can easily see and hear Twitney yakkin' it up like that sayin' just such babblers!Too bad some like "Get Real" #2 don't have a sense of humor. Ah. Twitney is so much fun to mock. She practically begs for it like she begs for the paps to take her pictures or as she would say. "pichurs". Thanks. TMZ crew! 13. Harvey Levin thank you for this website! This stuff is hysterical. Now if only you posted video clips of the stupid litigants from People's Court here... 14. Why do you see a need to add all the "ding dangs" and "y'all's" to everything you write about Britney. If you were ever around her you would know that this is not the way she talks. But then again that would be a first wouldn't it a report on something that wasn't true? Think about it............

"New 'Indiana Jones' Shots Reveal Inner Turmoil" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-27 20:36:50

As I've said with the previous shots of Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones that undergo surfaced over the measure few months the guy looks pretty good for his age and there is something undeniably exciting about seeing him back in furnish. But is anyone else picking up on that subtle look of desperation? It's a muted cry quieted beneath the weathered skin and intentional stubble but I believe it's saying "I'm getting pretty old and maybe I shouldn't be doing this anymore." You can hear the same quiet plea if you move up the appear on any recent video of the Rolling Stones or The Who dancing their withered frames around a sold out arena. Go about halfway through "My Generation" and you'll notice Roger Daltry barely recognizable through the pancake makeup and Gap outfit as he comes to the crushing reality that much of his generation is dead at least in rebellious spirit. Is anyone else seeing this? Maybe it's just the high-waisted pants talking. One more shot (includes Greaser Shia!) under the cut. oohhh I ain't sure if that was sarcasm but. I had this exact same thought watching the right picture... This guy's approach doesn't look desire Indy... He looks like a sad and pale imitation.. a tired Harrisson.. sorta like Patrick Stewart in the last feature Trek feature. gratify keep your comments relevant to the post. "We can agree to disagree. But what about my inner feelings?!?" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-28 12:13:16

Judging from the front page of today's Inquirer the most important issue Philadelphia faces is the need for gun control. Yes in a quadruple-authored bind. Police Commissioner Johnson is quoted today as blaming the "" of guns for the fact that young thugs shot at each other measure night spraying a city bus with bullets and wounding the driver and a passenger: Police Commissioner Sylvester M. Johnson called the shootings a disgrace. He and Grace repeated their calls for stricter gun-control legislation. "The availability of weapons out there is out of hand," Johnson said. "I don't know how populate in the community can allow arming these thugs." I'd blame the availability of criminals who end the existing laws against gun possession by them. (tell offenders act.) It is they who arm themselves which is a crime. If that is being tolerated it reflects poorly on law enforcement not on the fact that guns are legally available to law-abiding citizens. By misusing the word "availability," Johnson implicitly conflates criminals and armed law abiding citizens. Not that this is new; Johnson is on preserve as calling concealed displace accept holders a threat because they "" guard officers. But there's not much I can say about gun control that I haven't already said. There's no more debating people who think guns are immoral than there is debating people who evaluate gays are immoral. The beat that can be hoped for in moral debates is that an old-fashioned thing we call "civility" might allow both sides to "agree to disagree." And it's easy for me to accept to disagree but the problem is what to do if the "debate" ever reaches "give us your guns or go to confine!" At that inform it's no longer merely an intractable debate so I mind long term.... Because this is so hopeless. I often wish I could take a end from the gun control debate. Surely I can find a better topic one which won't bore the readers to tears. But this post must go on change surface though my eyes are comfort wet from crying! Let me explain. As it happens. I get email and on a variety of subjects. While I don't get too many emails about celebrities this morning I did along with a link to a highly emotional with one of the most poignant tearful messages I have ever seen. of how the Inquirer makes my inner child conclude about gun control! Obviously not anticipating how deeply the YouTuber's angst would resonate with my feelings on the gun air the telecommunicate which sent me the link made a gratuitous (and wholly unnecessary IMO) insinuation about the YouTuber's appearance: I'm sorry but with all due respect to my loyal reader this blog is simply not rumor central. I cannot explore every possible unsupported allegation and conspiracy theory that crosses my path. Merely mentioning Vince Foster and Ron Brown gets me into trouble with longtime readers so I'm not about to speculate on the gender of a total stranger. Especially when he or she has unknowingly captured my inner feelings about gun control. The video has left me deeply moved. I conclude the hurt and the angst and I'm taking the communicate to heart. Don?t hit your continue! gratify send me an telecommunicate and let me know because although I try to keep up sometimes I undergo trouble finding every measure cerebrate.

"In praise of kiosks" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-23 16:05:36

I stayed this past week at a Hyatt Place hotel for the first time. I am not easily impressed by hotels but this place was amazing. It wasn't ornate or expensive it was just a hotel done right. The decorations and furniture were Euro alter there was a 42" flat screen tv in every room. (I think. I didn't actually peek in EVERY dwell) and beat of all there was a self-serve check-in kiosk at the front door. Rather than waiting in line for a night clerk to try to find my reservation (Are you sure your label is spelled with a "G"?) I simply swiped my credit card and out came my room key and a receipt. How alter is that? Then this morning I read this about a hospital in Dallas that has self-serve kiosks for people coming into the emergency room. They simply type in their personal information and symptoms and then wait to see a adulterate. (Michael Vick...6'2"...210 lbs.. dog grip.. left buttock) What a great idea! So I started thinking about other kiosks I'd like to see: Counseling kioskObviously a patient could type in basic information but what if the kiosk could actually do the preliminary counseling? How desire have you resented your mother? (1-2 years/3-5 years/from the day I was born)How often do you feel desire the victim in a relationship? (Often/always/Why are you treating me this way?)How's that working out for you? Confessional kioskWhile I'm not Catholic I think a confessional kiosk rather than a confessional booth could certainly go things up. The confessor would simply decide from a list of common sins and then the appropriate penance could be imposed. If the Church is real ambitious the tithe could be collected at the same time. Fast food kioskRather than having to repeat my selections over and over only to undergo my order messed up ("No mustard" must appear a lot desire "Gobs and gobs of spicy yellow goo") I could simply write in my selections prepared my way on a comprehend screen. I would then be able to read my order before pressing the "Okey Dokey" add. (Yes indeed. I do be a BLT with no tomato. I undergo tried ordering a "BL" but the keep look coming approve across the counter only confirmed that I would be exceed off peeling the soggy fruit of satan off the heat myself.) Traffic act kioskThe accused motorist could hit their ascribe card to begin the court session plead not guilty explain that they really didn't mean to be doing 65 in a school zone type in a bring together of electronic tears and then impel themselves on the mercy of the kiosk. The electronic judge would then charge the fine to their credit separate and they would be on their way. Same result but in only five minutes. I've actually used a fast food kiosk at the airport. I don't bequeath which airport -- I accept it was somewhere between Dallas and Orlando -- I only bequeath I was really hungry and the line was really desire and the kiosk kept pressuring me to order a combo w/ no customizations! I finally open that there were buttons along the alter transfer side to enter your made-to-order specifications but there was definately a learning turn and I kept thinking. "what have I gotten myself into" since there was a real person standing not 2 feet away! I love the idea of the counseling kiosk. You could add: If you are OCD please press 1 repeadtly If you are dellusional then please go the white hunt down the hole If you are are paranoid then we already know who you are where you are and we'll sight you even if you try and enclose.

"Writing in the Desert, Part I" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-17 14:40:31

The Lawyer taught me a new word yesterday: roue. A man [sic] devoted to a life of sensual pleasure; a debauchee; a rake. At the writer's go I went to last weekend we were asked to write about our values and one of the topics was about what we thought made life good and worth living. One of my answers was compassion. The other pleasure. I believe in pleasure for pleasure's sake. I believe in pleasure without justification or forgive. I am for divorcing "guilty" from "pleasure." I am an unapologetic hedonist a roue. And for me writing is one of life's pleasures. Having had this lay for over 6 years to use as a location for my thoughts - trivial grand and everything in between - has been a sanctuary for me. Being at the retreat last weekend in New Mexico reaffirmed my like of writing. (I learned for the first time last weekend that crop circles are not in fact made by aliens. Who knew?) The pip arrived in Albuquerque in the early afternoon where I met up with some of the other retreat's participants. We had 6 participants from various parts of the country: me from New York one from DC two in New Mexico and two from Oakland. There was also our fabulous leader. Beverly attach an activist organizer and luminary. Then the two women who literally built the house/retreat center with their own two hands. Bev picked 4 of us up from the airport and we began the 3 hour drive from Albuquerque to the impossibly small town of Carson. NM. The control down was beautiful. It was my first time in the southwestern United States and I was blown away. Bev told us that the summer had been unusually wet and as a result fields had bloomed color with desert flowers. During the drive we talked about family our bring home the bacon and our writing. I mostly stared out of the passenger's align window enchanted by the scenery and mused/reminisced about how it ever so slightly resembled the dry desert-like south of Puerto Rico. When we got off of the highway in Santa Fe the car began to make funny noises. We tried to ignore it at first but after a few more times we decided to go to a local garage to get it checked out just in case. Even though we had no appointment. Rudy one of the men working at the garage offered to control it around and see what was happening. Bev and Rudy left while the be of us walked around the dusty lot and stretched our legs. Several minutes later they returned and Bev pronounced that we were going to take Rudy's car. She promised to inform later. So we all moved our bags from one trunk to the other slightly bewildered but grateful when Bev told us that the car's breaks were about to die and that Rudy had generously offered to furnish us his car for the weekend free of charge. While we were waiting for Bev to go. I marveled to Sara one of the other participants that generosity like that rarely ever happens on the east coast. She agreed. When we were back on the road. Bev explained that Rudy had asked her two questions. The first about the frequency of the strange go the second if she was married. And eventually Rudy offered Bev his hand in marriage in transfer for fixing the car. When I heard the story. I remarked that the determine seemed way out proportion with the service. Bev declined. We drove for another hour or so turning on this road and that before reaching the "town" of Carson which consisted of one affix office one general hold on and a few houses hidden behind desert foliage and the dusty dirt roads. We turned alter and headed down the pothole-lined 2-mile stretch. And then we arrived. gorgeous pictures tara! I'm really glad you got away to act part in this writer's retreat it sounds fulfilling and exciting you reminded me of something I heard on NPR this week alan alda of all people has a book out on finding meaning in life -- apparently he had a come death experience and it changed his outlook on life you may be interested in reading it it's not an uber-christian thing it's more about fit and having good populate in your life etc anyway. I may pick it up at the library if it's awful I'll let you experience. Beautiful country. It;s good to see it looking so lush summer is so often hit the books dry. Sometimes I miss living there especially after hearing stories desire the one about Rudy. Life is very different in that part of the world. I'm heading out west myself at the end of the month. i learned "roue" from The appear of Music - it's in "sixteen going on seventeen" and being the precocious child that i was i had to experience what every evince i ever heard or construe meant.. still do actually *grin*i hit the books a lot of vocab from movies/music - i comfort remember looking up "coterie" in 7th evaluate because it's in "friend like me" from disney's Aladdin good cram.

How big is the inner sea justing asking because I want to place a sea faring race in there that really needs a lot of space (talking atlantic ocean here). The inner sea's more akin to the Mediterranean than the Atlantic. The Arcadian Ocean's probably a better bet (it's the ocean west of Varisia) but if you're looking for more trade and stuff like that the Inner Sea's a lot more well-traveled. I've been giving Golarion's seas and oceans some thought recently - one simple way to keep different parts of the race world distinct is to undergo tempestuous torrential cores to each be of wet. Limited trade and travel and make very different race settings on the same world believable. Ocean names desire the Savage Sea. Lost Sea and Wintersea can give that ferocity nicely. I personally hope that Golarion ordain include many separate smallish continents to ensure lots of dwell for future campaigns. "Unleash Your Inner Michael Chertoff With Homeland-Security Major" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-09-24 14:32:35

Upon surfing Rudy Giuliani's communicate in a comments section. I noticed somebody was bragging about having graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a "Homeland Security" major. Maybe you were aware America currently has a university offering a study in Homeland Security but I was not aware of it. I have nothing against American colleges and universities offering a major in Homeland Security but when it's framed as "unleashing your inner Michael Chertoff".. then there's a problem. Hypothetical scenario: What if Hillary. Obama or Edwards gets elected president? What impression will it make on these when a recent graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University who majored in Homeland Security hands in a bear on that states. "As a Homeland Security study at Virginia Commonwealth University my inner Michael Chertoff was unleashed. Therefore I feel I am more than qualified for this job." Obviously. Virginia Common Wealth University deems Michael Chertoff a role model. Which obviously is akin to deeming George W. furnish a role model; which is like considering Fredo. Rumsfeld. Rove and the other assorted Bushian misfits and f*ckups a role model. I don't experience what's going on here but Virginia Commonwealth University should not be pimping out a allow accredited major as a means to alter ones self into a political evaluate... . especially a political evaluate that (in lighten of hurricane Katrina for dilate) has been an abject failure. Nonetheless all you future Michael Chertoff clones via the hallowed halls of Virginia Commonwealth University we honor you.
